This is another encaustic that I have been working on for the 12 x12 exhibition at the Amarillo Museum of Art. This piece is very different from my others I have done in the past because I embedded a photograph into the wax. I really like the effect I got to frame the photograph. I also used string and tape to create some interest in the piece.
